#1 Dogwood
A slight dogleg right, this is one of the easier holes on the course. Depending on your length and the tee you play, a driver is not always necessary. The green can be a little tricky, with the slope running away from you and often times balls will release to the back fringe.

#2 Dogwood
A great par 5. This hole is reachable with two solid shots. If you can’t make it in two, your next priority is to avoid the oak tree on the left with your lay-up. Putting canbe difficult, as the green slopes deceptively from right to left.

#3 Dogwood
A tough driving hole. The ideal shot is a slight fade which matches the direction of the fairway. Deep rough and a blind approach awaits the player who drives his ball in the depression left of the fairway. If the pin is back right, a tee ball in the fairway bunker spells bogey or worse.

A par 3, players tend to aim right. With the predominant wind left to right, many balls end up right of the green with a tough up and down, especially if the flag stick is back. Hole generally plays a little longer than yardage due to wind direction and slightly uphill terrain.

#5 Dogwood
A dogleg right with out of bounds left and right; the ideal shot is a slight fade with enough club to carry the fairway bunker on the right. This type of shot will increase your target area due to the shape of the hole. The wind is predominantly left to right, so aim your fade further left than you normally would to avoid the fairway bunker.

A par 3, this hole’s difficulty is determined by the pin position. If the pin is up front, the hole not only plays much shorter but the shape of the green will funnel many balls closer to the hole. If the pin is on the back tier, however, it is extremely difficult to get the ball close. The green slopes away from the player and most balls with release into the back fringe. Anything right of the green will bounce even further right and leave you with a tough recovery.

#7 Dogwood
This hole requires a lot of thinking. A seemingly generous fairway belies the trouble lurking. Out of bounds and a fairway bunker come into play on the right, and a lateral hazards down the left side of the fairway catches a lot of balls as well. If you can hit a good drive, however, you may be in position to go for the green. The lake will deter many from attempting to reach the green in two, but a lay up is not easy either. Club selection when laying up is vital. If in doubt, you have the option of laying up even further back to the 150 yard marker.

One of the easier holes on the course. Straight and short, two good shots will get you a birdie. If the flag is positioned in the front, you may have to land your approach short of the green in order get it close.

A wonderful finishing hole. A long par 4 than doglegs slightly to the left. The fairway bunker on the left gets a lot of business. The ideal tee ball is a draw down the right side of the fairway which will leave a long to mid iron approach to the green. The green features tough pin positions back left and back right. The smart play is often to the center of the green where a two-putt par is always a good score.
